1-800-Flowers promotes inclusive employment with spring décor

Through its Smile Farms nonprofit, 1-800-Flowers empowered people of all abilities to craft floral arrangements for the spring fling dance at the Center for Developmental Disabilities.

Along with participants with the From Tears to Cheers vocational program, the arrangements served as décor for the students attending the dance hosted by and for the Center for Developmental Disabilities. This same group will be working together later this month to design and prepare floral arrangements, boutonnieres and corsages for the center’s prom.
